Unique Tube Amps for Guitar

The following are some of my projects under development.

Precision PA Amp Conversion

I purchased a high-quality Precision PA amp and am in the process of converting it to guitar. It has a pair of 7868 output tubes rated at 32 watts output power. It has a 6C4 cathodyne phase invertor. The preamp tube is a 12AX7. My goal is to make a high-power head that is easy to carry.

I covered the metal PA case in tweed, and call the amp the Jazz Tank.

The Roctal

The Roctal is a rock amp using all octal tubes: 6SL7 preamp, 6SN7 phase inverter and two 6V6's. I plan on using the Retro circuit, which will give it a fantastic blues and rock tone.
