Fenoprofen is an NSAID
agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia, azotemia, bleeding, blurred vision, bullous rash, constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, gastritis, GI bleeding, headache, hearing loss, heart failure, hematuria, hemolysis, interstitial nephritis, lethargy, maculopapular rash, nausea/vomiting, nephrotic syndrome, palpitations, pancytopenia, peptic ulcer, peripheral edema, platelet dysfunction, proteinuria, pruritus, purpura, renal papillary necrosis, sinus tachycardia, thrombocytopenia, tinnitus, toxic epidermal necrolysis, urticaria,
Arginine stimulates gastrin production which increases stomach acid. This can irritate the stomach.
Feverfew has similar actions. Combining Feverfew with NSAIDs may increase the risk of side effects.
Natural blood thinners: Garlic, Ginkgo, Vitamin E, Policosanol, Dong quai, Ginger, Horse chestnut, Red clover, Fish oils, and OPCs.
Natural blood thinners may increase the tendency to bleed, a side effect of NSAIDs.
Potassium, magnesium, and calcium citrate
Citrates alkalinize the urine which decrease the therapeutic effect of NSAIDs and ASA.
St JohnÕs Wort and Dong quai
St JohnÕs Wort and Dong Quai can cause sensitivity to sunlight, which may add to side effects of NSAIDs.
Cayenne may help prevent gastric bleeding.
Colostrum may help protect against ulcers caused by NSAIDs.
Folate may be depleted by NSAIDs.
Licorice (DGL) may help protect the stomach against gastric damage caused by NSAIDs.
Vitamin C may be depleted by NSAIDs.
